NO!! & Somali Canadian Working Group for New Generation will provide $3,000 to 6 students entering full-time program of study at college or university in 2005/6 academic year. This award funded is by Alif Enterprises Inc.

The Somali-Canadian Working Group for New Generation is a non-profit community based organization whose goals and objectives are to facilitate and promote active civic participation and to integrate the Somali Community into the Toronto mainstream society.

In order to achieve these goals and objectives, the organization shall devote itself to working with government agencies, schools and boards of education, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and other service providers.

Further, the organization shall intensely and strategically pursue to developing projects and social programs, which will focus on improving the socio-political, educational and economic conditions of the Somali Community in Toronto.
